Overview
The client is a music entertainment website that allows users to create a personalized virtual studio, access royalty-free licks & loops from legendary musicians, sell their songs, and get airplay over a fandriven multi-channel internet radio network. They are revolutionizing the music industry, allowing solo acts and bands to manage their complete library of songs, including individual recordings, tracks, and mixes.

Business Need
The client wanted to create a one-stop shop for musicians on all levels so that users may be able to collaborate with other users on music production projects. Also they wanted innovative lessons to be offered electronically from well-known musicians to help nurture musicians beyond there current skill level. Their idea was to distribute electronically, music production loops via their online shop to bring users closer to creating finished projects. Then the web application was to be extended into a robust back-end system that could provide services to manage all aspects of business needs including performance of very high number, a minimum of 200, of concurrent users. They wanted to optimize and brand a portal through which they could take care of the marketing needs of its customers and attract the web traffic so that the traffic would then be steered to specific casing for members based on their respective needs.

The Solution
R Systems implemented publishing concepts to maintain system performance due to consumer site. Also features like Members Blog Page, Pod Cast, Member Homepage customization, Mix Voting, Products Loops, Music lessons, Internet Streaming, Administration and House band artist were added.
