R Systems has been adjudged the winner of the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award for the year 2011 in the “Large Scale Service Industry” category. Prof. K.V. Thomas, Hon’ble Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution will formally present the award in a ceremony, to be held on April 26, 2013, at the NDMC Convention Center, New Delhi. The award consists of a certificate, a plaque, a silver salver inscribed with logo Q, and a cash award of Rs. 1 lakh. The Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Awards are given every year by the Bureau of Indian Standards, for encouraging service and manufacturing organizations that strive for quality excellence. These awards are considered to be the highest recognition in quality in India and are designed in line with similar awards in other developed countries, like the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in USA, the Deming Prize in Japan, and the European Quality Award.
